Yes she`s beautiful, colours just rite, as good as you could get, perfect in fact, blah blah. But what about poor Fugly ?? All those great trips! All the different colours !All the sign writing !All the Jolly times!!! Someone is sure going to get a great old unique van when Fugly goes. Hopefully many more Jolly times ahead. PS Rattcliffe said can you post more pictures of Meggs as the only thing that interests him on caravans is the wheels.

Hang in there Fugly Daddy just has a fascination for this absolutely beautiful Sunny. Just because it`s all fresh and stunning sitting there gleaming in the drive it don`t mean nothing . You have history. You`ve seen off countless lovely classic cars and another Sunny !! Be patient you`ll get another fresh coat soon and a big new slogan on the back ready for the next Toads and Roaches Tour. Rattcliffe will be looking forward to catching up with your wheels again and Meggsie of course. Sutcacs.... you're selling Fugly .... I can't believe it Poor Fugly faithful servant all these years to be discarded because a flash Sunny three times the size comes on the scene . How many times has she had her sides lifted to demonstrate to interested onlookers how she performs her wonderous conversion from a fugly square box into a beautiful five, four, three, adaquate accomodation for two intreped travellers,,,,, do you think the dime a dozen Sunny will be the same conversation starter and friend maker Fugly has been all these years when you arrive at a caravan park, or camp ground ? .... not likely Many people have more than one vintage caravan why don't you just retire her..if you must put her in a nursing shed where you can visit her often and reminisce about the good times you've had together, pump her tyres up and clean her windows, paint her a different colour occasionally and continue to show her the love you did when she was younger, she's earned it. There was a time vintagecaravans.proboards.com/post/95020/thread when I had a slight dummy spit over Driftwood, but fortunately friends on the forum showed me the error of my ways and we've gone on to enjoy each others company since then. Would I sell Driftwood ? ....never Will you sell Fugly ? .... never. Cobber.

She is totally. Spectacular! Your wife that is! You have done such an amazing job, do you feel like an all expenses paid trip to Tassie? Of course you will need to stay long enough to duplicate this on my little sunliner..

Hey heywok.
You can get new rubbers for aluminium(Qualcraft) side windows from forum member tonyh on here . Make contact with him by sending him a personal message.
The fixed front and rear windows are a bit trickier. They are made from Perspex(plastic). So you'll need to find a perspex supplier who can cut and bend windows to the required size /shape. If you still have the originals ,then you can use them as templates to have the new ones made. Otherwise you may have to take the van to the supplier, to have them made to the correct size. Each of the 4 windows will be a slightly different size/shape. My windows came with my Sunliner as an unfinished project, so can't help you there Once you have your windows made , you need to find someone who can fit them! I was lucky to find an old school mobile windscreen guy (been doing it for 35 years or so!) who came and looked at my job, supplied the rubber and fitted them perfectly. On my first Sunliner resto I used a "H" type rubber. This time I used one which used a bead insertion like earlier car windscreens. I prefer this type to the "H" type. Most Sunny owners have used a variety of different rubbers for the same or similar results. IF they don't leak, all is good!! Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Cheers Sutcac
