Looks like Queenscliff is going to swing. I have about 25 caravans coming at this stage, and I guess more will present as time goes by. I am having trouble marrying off names from pro boards to the actual names booked in at the caravan park. If you could please identify your self with the names I have I would be most appreciative. We will enjoy a meal at the Bowling club (within 2 mins walk) but I really need to know numbers. I have made a booking for 40 but I think I have under estimated somewhat. $25.00 PH for a roast meal choice of 2 meats, and choice of 2 sweets. Could you let me know if you intend to join us. Otherwise there are lots of other eating establishments in the town. The Choice is yours. Don't forget it is your responsibility to book your site at the caravan park and identify yourself as "Vintage" Looking forward to summer and seeing you all at Queenscliff by the sea. Frances

Golly gosh, the number of attendees to Queenscliff is 35 at the moment. I urge those who haven't booked to do so soon, it is a big park but there will be the other poor souls who are forced to travel in ordinary modern vans that may need to stay as well as we privileged people who are "special". I am astounded with the interest we have received for this event, and I am very humbled that we have vans coming from South Australia and N.S.W. Also it is a great venue for caravanners from the Gippsland side of the state to hop on the ferry and join Vintage van people from the West of the state. We will be meeting a whole new group of new friends. Please remember to advise the park staff that you are "Vintage" when you book. Looking forward to seeing you all, by the sea side in December. Frances

Regarding Dinner on Saturday evening, I started by booking for 40, have since increased it to 50 and have now had another increase to 70. At present there are in excess of 40 vintage caravans booked to attend Queenscliff, so I hope my numbers for dinner will be OK at present. When organising this weekend I envisaged about 12 or 14 vans attending, and as you can see, it is now beyond my wildest expectations, and I am becoming a bit panicky. However I do thank all those who have booked to be at our Sea Side weekend in Queenscliff, it is very heartening to know our pastime with old vans is becoming so popular. I wish the Queenscliff council could be as enthusiastic, they only seem interested on how much money they can make out of us. However Queenscliff is a great venue for an event such as this and I will be very pleased to greet you all on the first weekend in December. Frances
