Hi All,
Well a bit more progress tonight, but no photo's - Sorry!!
Borrowed my brothers air compressor and 6' orbital sander, WOW, how have I survived without one! Spent about an hour and a half laying on the floor sanding the bottom of the inch and a half floor boards ( no I'm not kidding ) which are now ready for painting.
Can't wait to get all of this stuff done. Laying on a cold floor, working overhead isn't my idea of fun! Will have progress photo's next week. Cheers, John

Decided that it would be a bit safer to have a new 'A' frame made. Cost a bit, but in the long run will be better off. This is what was holding the original hitch in place....... As you can see from the photo's I've had the frame extended. The original was bolted to the wooden chassis by 10 coach bolts. This way I can have a few more. Getting there and having fun! Cheers, John

So apparently over two years have gone by and all that I've done is look at and sometimes trip over this van.......... So tonight work started again........... Decided to re-skin the final top half piece that I've been looking at for a while..... This is what I started with And after a couple of hours I ended up with this and a new piece to fill in the holes! Going away in the other van for the weekend chasing steam trains, so won't get back into it until next week. Who knows Cobber, you may get to see this van at some stage soon.......... Cheers, John

A bit more progress today Top folded down Top un-folded And the door in place Not sure about the door....... The only protection the fly wire has is some canvas that rolls down and clips to the framework. Thinking about keeping the canvas, but putting some glass in rather than the fly wire. Plenty to do before I worry about it too much though:)
