I was wondering about the spats being a problem when removing the wheele when a flat ,shows it's ugly head.

the wood is just a framework i made up which is then glued to the body, so the spats can be removed if the wheel needs changing they are held on with brass screws & cup washers into the framework.

Thank You, Its starting to come together now, it will look better once it has been varnished, then i can concentrate on the outside.... looking forward to putting the calico on the roof!

I have to agree with others who have commented - that woodgrain look finish, and the additional 'pin striping' looks fantastic. I'm really looking forward to seeing more pics of your van as it gets closer to completion.
