Hi. For those attending the 2010 Nationals, some may be interested in attending the Lake Goldsmith Steam Rally on the 1st and 2nd of May 2010 on the way, with this event featuring Historic Caravans. The following link will give you more info. Lake GolsmithCheers.

Hi all, The Lake Goldsmith Steam Rally site is quite an interesting place to visit even when a rally is not on because of the number of caravans they have there as accommodation - see Reply #7 on this thread. Vantoura's idea about combining the May 2010 Steam Rally with the Vintage Caravan Nationals in Mildura is well worth thinking about. Maybe the Lake Goldsmith event could be built into one of the Meanders? (Although I think the Meander discussed thus far is going to follow the Murray. Don Ricardo

Hi Cobber In answer to your other thread on another posting ....thought it would be better to keep the nationals threads all together G'day Geoff, Being a bit thick... with the old hard drive having trouble retaining it's memory.... I thought I'd better ring the "Apex RiverBeach Park" in Mildura ( 03 50236879 03 50236879 ) and check if I had booked in..... I had They told me they had 28 sites booked for the "Vintage Caravan Nationals" and room for 12 more. Cobber. Cobber time go's quick when you are having fun ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I thought it was only a couple weeks since I spoke to the manager ....but it was 4 weeks .....you have made my day with 28 BOOKED........ and room for 12 more Just spoke to the park the update is now 31 members have booked .........AND WE WILL NOT RUN OUT OF SITES.......we can have the next row ....and we will still be all togetherone of the bookings is 6 roadmasters caravans coming from S A Geoff

Reddo, I believe I was guilty by association. So I will be very careful who I park next to, who I am within earshot of, and most importantly, who I associate with!!! I was going to look back at the photo's I took in the Mount, to remind me who were the neighbours, and who were the one's. But I think I remember......... Cheers Steve

Hi F/F Haven't heard from Mel in ages. Have just sent her an email. Also, am unsure if the raym's are going either. That would be good if we park next to each other again....you can keep the grumpy one's away from both of us!!! Steve

F/F Mel is unsure what her events co-ordination is doing at that time, but knows about the rally. She will need to wait til it gets a bit closer before she knows. Steve

Hey you guys, for the last and FINAL time...... IT WASN'T ME!!!!! I am NOT the trouble maker, and was only ever pleasant and helpful. Providing entertainment on the side of my van for the kiddies and making things to eat and didn't I also clean my whole van whilst there??? No time for anything else apart from sitting around drinking beer and talking toot. So there. Am really trying to make it again, will see how I go. Have just had Bess with me at the Falls Festival in Lorne and she was a life saver, albeit a bit worse for wear. Will give her a spruce up and head to Mildura if at all possible. Happy New Year to everyone! Mel

No need to make excuses .. it was all Will and Lyns fault.anyway... ;D Lifes short.. play hard...plenty of time to slump over and smell the roses when ya get old. Make the effort and get yourself and Bess to Mildura. Happy Trails Reddo
