January 2009Finally left Moruya and the south coast of NSW in mid-January and headed back up the Clyde, turned right at Braidwood and headed to Goulburn.........called at Wakefield Park Raceway just out of town..................    Caught up with lovshack (Pat & Dave).........visited some old landmarks in Goulburn......... St Saviour's Anglican Cathedral (built 1872-74), with it's stunning stained glass windows.........   The organ, which is still having pipes added to it..............  The exquisitely carved pulpit.......................  Hand-made and embroidered kneelers..............these are in the Soldiers Chapel and commemorate those from the Goulburn district who served in the two World Wars, Korea and Vietnam  On the other side of the coin, the infamous Goulburn Gaol........   The obligatory visit to two pioneer cemeteries (near the gaol).....  Final resting place of William Hovell, of explorers Hume & Hovell fame...................  The big merino.........  Daggsey

Mid April 2009Left Alstonville and headed west to Tenterfield.............had a small hold-up in Lismore.......(no, it's not an FE.......yes it is an FC.....no, I haven't had any alcohol this morning......yes, we are leaving Lismore)...............   Through Casino, Drake and Tabulam.....................   Tenterfield...............     Camping at Tenterfield Showground.................. Hi Daggsey and Carrots Somewhere... somewhere way back when you guys started your journey,,, and we started seeing where "Lady Madonna had traveled" ................ I replied.. somewhere.... maybe not on this thread .... but maybe a pm with something like ............... "You lucky buggers.. Go ahead.....Live the dream that a LOT of us here on the forum wish we could do" When life seems to be turning to poop around me i simply log on here.. go to page "one" and follow your journey all over again.
