Hi Retro, Mark tells be you are the one to ask about joining. I have stripped my Don caravan down with a heat gun and I'm about to prepare it for paint. The joins at the front had canvas glued to the van. There must be a beter techneque these days ? also can you tell me what to use for filler, for the odd chip in the timber from the scapper I used to remove the paint. Regards Bret GALAXY65

Still on holidays in Queensland and have limited contact on the net. If you need to contact me please ring 0410275787 The best way I think other than the original way is to fibreglass bog it and use a product that will seal porous stuff like ply in the hardware section of your hardware joint. I used a water-proof membrane that was water based and have been in many showers now and have not had a problem. I'm not sure of the name of the product but will look it up when I get home.
