I don't think from the late 60's, more like the late 50's.
It could be one of my fathers early ones. He made Caravans from about 48 - 70something. His firm was Bi-Tone and it was right across the road from Baravans. I have a 64 Baravan and it is a squarer design.
Dads early vans were roundies and were always distinguished by having 2 colours or designs on the sides. Hence the name BiTone. The name was originally chosen tho to ensure they got into the phone book ahead of Carapark. But Baravan camme along soon after.
I shall show some photos to Dad and see if he recognizes it. The ribbed skin on the lower half sure does look familiar to me though.

Thanks for the friendly response's folks ;D ;D John...yeah, I tend to think it may be late '50s just by the quality of the joinery & the fittings ; the wardrobe has a bevelled glass mirror & that & the original cupboards have nice little push button chrome handles, there is a drop-table that has old fashioned green fleck formica, also the wooden pelmets for the curtains look '50ish...I'm sure the formica cupboards, & cooker have been a later upgrade as nothing about them matches the rest of the original joinery...I also have my suspicions that the exterior aluminium side panels & door may have been replaced also as you can still see the pencil marks on the alloy to mark pop rivot holes whereas the the top panels are painted & nailed to the framing..& the inside of the door is Rimu yet the rest of interior is oak Jazzhow2...I live in Canterbury, in the south island of New Zealand..if you end up that far down NZ, come & visit!! If anyone knows of any vintage caravan clubs here in NZ could you let me know...apparently there is a pre '68 caravan rally in a town called Geraldine here in S.I. NZ in june sometime but I have been having trouble finding out more info on it..[bloody freezing in Geraldine in june too!!] CHEERS original chrome handles original top cupboards original formica drop- table original exterior panelling

A good trick when checking out the joinery on old vans is to pull out a draw and look for the pencil marks. If they are all hand made, there will be pencil marks indicating which draw goes into which hole.
I know in Dads factory even the screw (later pop rivet) holes were all measured so they were a regular pattern. Also in those days they only had slotted screws (no philips) and these slots were also always lined up.
