Well it seems that when you mention old caravans to friends, everyone has an old one in the back yard. The question comes up "do you want it" "I'm going to get rid of it, your welcome to it" Whilst preparing to go to Ballarat, Vic to pick up our "1968 Franklin Caravelle, I bumped in to an old friend at the shops and two hours later I have a 18 foot, 6 Berth, Franklin Regent in my drive way. It is still registered and has NEW brakes, water tank, Annex and windows. has a few leaks and needs a good clean. the drive to Ballarat has been canceled until a thorough inspection of our new acquisition. I will post some pics when I have some in the day light. It has a plaque on the front, can anyone help with information on Norm Reeman Caravans. I think this one is around the same age as our Franklin Caravelle, can anyone confirm.

Norm Reeman's early models were lemon shaped, aluminium, resembling a Globe Trotter. I don't know if they were his own design, or if they were another maker's rebadged. Roderick Smith
