G'day Neil'nCheryl, Not long to go till the September holidays, but it looks like you're on track You've probably noticed there's been a bit of talk as to whether Crestline vans should be called " Kings Crestline" ..... Crestline being the model. There is as yet no entry in DHL for Crestline, do you reckon there should be ? Cobber.

Thanks Effy & Cobber. Not sure on How Crestline fits in but I would have assumed that Crestline was the name of the caravan and manufactured by "Kings Caravans Ltd" as per the tag. After all, Ambassador and Supreme are not manufactured by Viscount but rather are Viscount Ambassador and Viscount Supreme. Just my thoughts but could be way off track. Neil

Had some hold ups but back working on the Crestline again now. A few update pics I have replaced all the front and side internal ply walls around the dining area. The frame has also been replaced. The single beds at the rear have been replaced with a double. The front corner window shelves took a lot of time making. The original ones had been replaced and the replacements were rotted and poorly fitting so I didn't have much to go on. They have turned out ok. Hopefully will be priming and undercoating this week ready to paint topcoat the week after Coolys

G'day neilncheryl
That's a major job you have undertaken , it is interesting to see that timber constructed vans haven't changed much really, right up to the most modern timber framed ones. The sealants are better nowdays & keep the elements out if applied right, if only they had the sikaflex's back then that we have now .
Well, at least you have plenty of room to move around in that beauty when you're working.
Pity you have to cover all that interesting framework with ply isn't it? I think I will always leave one 1/2 finished just to look at the real work that goes into it. You should be feeling good about what you have done, it looks great.
