G'day good lookin' Royalties not likely, seems like everybody knew about these items before I did They did give me a slight discount on the jewelery items, but wouldn't come to the party regarding the ceramic items I think they might think I should be grateful they made all this Driftwood stuff just for me.......... they might just have a point there....aye? Cobber.

G'day Ron, I will have to update this photo gallery of 'Driftwoods' five minutes of fame because they just keep coming I did make mention of the Good Taste article with a link to the magazine in 'whatever' section just so people could race out and buy it And more recently Harriet !discovered a range of Grey Nomad Wines that have an image that looks like Driftwoods on the label, and those wines were produced back in 2008 I think Cobber.

Quote from Wikipedia, "The expression, "Living the life of Riley" suggests an ideal contented life, possibly living on someone else's money, time or work. Rather than a negative freeloading or gold digging aspect, it implies that someone is kept or advantaged" That's me I've updated the photo gallery with the latest non royalty paying copies of Driftwoods image being used to promote other people's products ..... where will it end Cobber.

G'day Gabriel Gee can't you tell......I did it, real rough and blokey effort, and I've done another one with a page devoted to photos of each one of the four vintagecaravans.com nationals we've had so far.... just as plain as the first one. Still got pages left for Broken Hill...... and the next one. There are some interesting ones out there though... Here and Here ...... you'll find 'em and I look forward to seeing what you do with it, show us the finished product won't you Cobber

Thanks Ron, Drawing a bit of a long bow with that one aye? Although you can see a slight resemblance, in the side stripe and the wheel arch....... OK, I'll accept it Jenniewren....... thanks for your enthusiastic appreciation of poor old Driftwoods good looks That Grey Nomad wine has been around since about 2008 and the connection with Driftwood has only now been noticed. I have spoken with them and they agree the image used was Driftwoods I tend to "modify" posts with additional stuff I add to this thread these days so it doesn't keep popping up, I can understand some people might be thinking they've just about had a gut full of poor old Driftwoods five minutes of fame ........... But it just keeps on keeping on Cobber.
