Hi All, We never did finish our story back across the paddock up till now. thought we would share some of the final times of the trip to Moyhu, Vic. ready for restoration at Zips and Rips Caravan restorations in time for Nationals before heading to her new home in Sth Maclean, Qld. Lazza doing his usal tricks at Norseman. Morticia looked so fearsome that the saying of "I eat Jaycos" started and well as the photo says - Morticia took on the personality and warned all those Jayco thingys that she would gobble them up! Yes, and we spelt her name wrong - we know, we know, it will come off with the restoration! the finished artwork proved a hit with everyone with lots of pointing and conversations had everywhere we stopped. Even some Jayco owners had their photo taken with Morticia. teasing jaycos - Larry would reluctantly stop to talk to Jayco people while Lynnee (little did they know) was out the back taking photos. Then as we went past you would hear them laughing as they saw the sign. half way across the nullabor and she is looking good, no problems so far - even without a spare wheel - yep we were crazy! But we did it. Oh Morticia Smorgasbord! Now Mildura saw Morticia get very excited when she saw the largest Jayco dealership in Victoria and she was saying _ I want one, no TWO, please please let me at them, I'm so Hungry! Almost to the end of what we suspect is the longest vintage van retrieval on it's own two wheels. Before we left the park the Jayco Sterling club members came over and took photos for their magazine and videoed and took lots of photos. She certainly was a hit. We turned our back for a moment and Morticia must have slipped out and grabbed a Jayco snack. I called out to her to drop it, or she would be sick, too late, it's gone in one end and out the other. Oh Morticia! told you to spit it out - not S..t it out !!!!! Things are all good now, ready to start getting new axle, hubs and at last brakes............? So let's celebrate with a Pina Colada on the only V Van complete with built on front sundeck. Thanks Daggsy for selling this much loved big baby.

First fuel stop Well here we are. Day two. Certainly have had challenges in the first 24hrs and the next fixing them. Waeco power pack - Gawn! Gas Line blockage Lighting problems Generator upset Onya Lazza all solved today The Sunny, now she is riding so well, forget she is on behind. A guy at the showers said to Lazza today - "see you have hatched out of your egg" haha. Lots of interest and conversations so far along the way. So with S/W Grange and VB "in stock", we head off tomorrow for Port Augusta. The "Bago" is our $320K support vehicle, so being sure we will be okay from here, we will say farewell to Dot and Mal for now. Time for lunch and a cuppa tucked up in Mildura

Hope the photos(coming) show it because Larry stayed over at my place for a couple of days after "Bleakheath" and went to work on the silver aluminium stone guard of the pathfinder as well as the aluminium window frames. To understate things..... the results were nothing short of amazing!!!!!!!! ;D ;D The guard now looks like a bathroom mirror and you would swear the window frames are chrome. His polishing compound is top stuff and anyone needing similar done on their VV should seriously consider hiring his services if they can waylay him on his travels round the block. Well worth the $$$$ jennison PS poor bugger had a trip from hell between ACT and wang.....100kph winds, flat tyre on the VV and sheared a mainbolt on the towbar hitch!!!, took him 2 days to get home Just to let you know, I am heading into Melbourne later today for the weekend if anyone wants any polishing done. You can find me on 0423 962 507. Larry

Okay, we're in! Sure we can fit it in between our other "engagements". Lyn is a marriage celebrant and just has to be in Brisbane sometime soon after the 15th so should work out well. By the way, if anyone wants to get married or renew their vows - feel free to contact Lyn - we gotta earn some bucks to stay on the road
