Hi all, This is just to let everyone who has ordered a V V Nationals DVD know that I received a message from Lilian today to say that the mailing out of the DVD has been delayed. Over the last few weeks, Lilian's mother has been very ill, and sadly she passed away yesterday. Understandably her mind has been on other things, and not the DVD. I have assured Lilian that I feel certain everyone will understand if the mail out of the DVD waits until she can get to it. In the meantime I am sure our thoughts and prayers will be with Lilian and Dave (Dave01), and also Lilian's brother Frank and his wife Barbara (forum name Frank) now and in the days ahead. Those of us who have been on one of the recent Victorian events or the Nationals at Broken Hill have met all four of these lovely people, enjoyed their company, and will be feeling for them. We had been trying to find a vintage caravan club for some time .We asked everyone we came across who had a vintage van if they were in a club but could not find anyone who was. Then one day I got a letter of my daughter's father-in -law telling me he had seen an advert for a vintage caravan National's in his Vintage car Magazine and wondered if we would be interested. This was on the Wednesday and the Nationals was on the Saturday. We very quickly got the caravan ready and took off for Mildura. That was in 2008. We had no idea what to expect and was not members. We said we'll find out how to join up when we get there. We had the best time ever and could not believe how friendly every one was. We are still meeting new friends and just love the time we spend together with you all. So all I can say is a BIG THANK YOU TO MARK and all concerned in the organization every one has been fantastic.

Hi Mark, I would just like to tell you Toffeeman and Agnes have just got back from touring W..A in a Windsor Windcheater. We called at Nannup and then travelled on . Unfortunately we had a car accident just out side York. We totalled the car and caravan. Luckily we were unhurt but the people of this area were so kind to us. Not just one person but everyone we had the fortune to meet. We are still amazed by the kindness we received from total strangers. One young lady offered us accommodation at her home. So thanks to all the people, Police Ambos. The people of the West are the best in our eyes.

Hi folks, thanks to Andrew82 for a great weekend ,good company A great time was had by all. Thanks to Steve for the great pici's.Can't wait for the next run. After you all left on Sunday Alan and I were sitting in the van reading when we heard one hell of a crash.Everybody ran out of the vans to see what had happened. It was a gum tree had fell on one of the holiday homes right across from where we were.It had made a hole in the roof.Snoopy spent the rest of the afternoon cutting up the tree in the rain. Thanks to Bob and Jacqui for their good wishes for the old fella. I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year. all the best from Agnes and Alan.

Hi Steve how about the week of the 13th/14th.Nov.for a quick get away?Idont think we would have much trouble getting in anywhere at this time. What numbers are you expecting?I should think most caravan parks would be glad of the numbers at this time of year before the rush of the silly season cheers A and A.
