Hi all pic's below I picked up this 12'ft 6" hilandale on ebay last friday for $50 near Bendigo Victoria I felt sorry for it. As the pic's show its in need of 3 side windows and the front one i believe there Alfab brand .Internal side window frame measures 540 mm high x 920 mm wide. External measurements are. 580 high x 950 wide. The front window cut out measurement is 1535 mm wide x 565 mm high. It also needs a door the cut out measures 520 wide x 1740 high. A sink would be nice too. I am in Geelong and don't mind travelling and appreciate any lead or assistance . Thank's hwyman. s-l1600 (24) by Brian Moxon, on Flickr s-l1600 (25) by Brian Moxon, on Flickr s-l1600 (23) by Brian Moxon, on Flickr

I went back for a look Cobber looks like a HQ--HJ holden wagon tail light without the surround a hella tail light with bolts through the lenses to hold it on and a old motorcycle tail light. Now I don't have to go as far as having my slot head screws line up on a project but two different tail lights would never do ;D hats of to him that it does not irritate him like it would me every time I would look at it.

I had a ZH fairlane that was saggy in the bum and a local trailer parts maker (large shed behind his house) replaced my worn leaf springs with thicker good condition second hand leafs from a xf falcon ute keeping the original eye to eye leaf and replacing all the others. If your main eye to eye leaf spring is salvageable you may be able to do the same with the others also you could measure eye to eye and check the wreckers yards. hwyman

YOUR WRONG JBJ The expression derives from the old proverb 'you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear', which dates from the 16th century. The English clergyman Stephen Gosson published the romantic story Ephemerides in 1579 and in it referred to people who were engaged in a hopeless task: "Seekinge too make a silke purse of a Sowes eare." Although over the years i have noticed you are blessed with the ability to turn a sow's ear in to a silk purse ;D ;D ;D Hwyman

Don't forget what can be done on a budget in the past i have moved vans in tight situations with a chain block & tackle mounted to the towbar with the car wheels chocked sliding the van on 3'' treated pine posts . The last one i did was a 25ft tandem viscount which i dragged 12ft sideways before i could tow it out . But it was hot work on a 40 degree day. hwyman.

Hi Nugget its looking good I had to laugh when i saw what you found under the compressor as your van was on ebay quite a few times and the fist time i saw it advertised a young fella expressed his interest in the van purely for that purpose . The then owner was utterly disgusted and let him have it . If she only new ha ha. hwyman. ;D ;D ;D

Thanks for that ozman I may be in touch two heads are better than one. I don't want to fit rubbers to have them leak as I recall reading in a earlier thread in the sunliner section.

Hi all can anyone give me a rough price on the front and rear wrap around windows and new rubbers for a 61 sunliner please. I sent Spyder a pm but he may not have checked his messages. I'm not to fussed with the rubbers and may fill the cavities and insert opening windows yet . hwyman.

Hi curtis if you cannot obtain the original or another that will fit you could mask up the window frame and the glass neatly and apply a bead of a quality sealant then remove the tape while it's still wet for a neat finish. I have seen the glaziers do this i think because it's so much cheaper for them.

Atog good job there just wondering no doubt you resealed the windows with butyl or sikaflex etc does the exterior wall have to much flex causing the leak?. Hwyman
