Gday Greedy.Size does matter! Depends on how many mouths to feed & the size of the waffle iron. 1 3/4 cups Plain flour, tablespoon of Baking powder, same amount of Sugar,250g butter, pinch or so of Salt,3 Eggs & 1 1/2 cups of Milk. Preheat the Waffle iron.Whisk the flour, baking powder, sugar & salt etc in a large bowl. Seperate the white from the yokes & beat in seperate bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients & mix in well. Pour in the mix covering maybe 3/4 of the waffle iron.Close lid & should cook within 2minutes or so.Normally once you see steam exiting they should be about done.Best to get a nice golden colour. The iron i have is around 8" accross. Depending on your bravery you can add other fillings like grated cheese, challotts, pre cooked mince &/or rice as an example.Store cooked waffles flat not stacked. gordon
