Don't know where it is Alprov, but I wish I was there now!
It looks as if it is somewhere on a river. It reminds me a bit of South West Rocks, so I'm thinking it's somewhere up on the north coast of NSW?

Hello Don Ricardo , you are warm /hot , this place is a real hotspot for caravans & camping , & if you was there you would most likely about now be heading off to the bowling club with your wife for a smorgasboard tea along with raffles / combined trivia .

Is it "The Breakwall Holiday Park", Port Macquarie N.S.W. The watering Hole would be "The Westport Club" where you can get a great meal whilst looking out over the hastings river.

When i stayed there in a cabin recently the lady at the office was telling me about the retirees with their big rigs come in & book for a month , after 14 days they present her with a centrelink form (downloaded) which she stamps & they send off allowing them to receive rental assistance , however after 30 days they have to vacate for 1 day before coming back again if they wish , a pretty good wicket thats available to all pensioners.

Seeing noone else has any idea where your photo's were taken I'll guess it is at Hatehead Holiday Park . I've been there for day trips but never stayed there, as you say it is a beautiful spot one of the many up and down the NSW coast.

Methinks it's time for a reveal. This could be virtually any caravan park in NSW!

Hi Roehm3108 , apologies for not answering sooner currently in Italy havin fun , spotted a couple of vv's in my travels by train but @ 240 km per hour no time to snap a photo , the Park is at Stuarts Point between South West Rocks turnoff & Macksville ( my home town ) the entrance comes in via the Macleay River at SWR swings around at Kemps corner & creates a peninsular back to Stuarts Point ending in a massive lagoon , very deep which is home to the blue swimmer crab ( one persons best 28 ) overnight . So i suppose Donr was the closest , good call Donr , regards alprov.

Hi Geoff & Jude,
Yes, it is where the Ghan stops, but not to talk about the water tank. It is one of the regularly scheduled stops.

Yes, we’ll i knew YOU would know that much Ray Roehm 😝 but knowing Don Ricardo I reckon that water tank must have some rare historic significance, otherwise why would anybody take a photo of it ? ☹️
Cobber.

Hi Roehm and Cobber, Sorry to disappoint you Cobber, but there was nothing particularly remarkable about the water tank, except for where it was located.
And Roehm, you're spot on! But then that's not entirely surprising...I seem to remember meeting another passenger on the trip who looked exactly like you, and who spoke exactly like you... That was a memorable day wasn't it? Stopping at Marla Bore just before sunrise to see the sun come up over the horizon while we ate breakfast. Your turn Roehm. Don Ricardo

DonR, surprisingly I met your doppelganger on that trip too! To think I almost didn't detour to go to look at this place!
