An extremely nice picture both Mr & Mrs Gypsy like it. It certainly peaked our interest. Mrs Gypsy works for Water NSW and we both thought it is a dam in the background so we started googling old dams. Whilst looking at old dam pictures we noticed some unusual valve houses, so we started googling valve houses and low and behold we found this prov.vic.gov.au/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/AndrewsLR-F01.jpgSo the answer is that its the Scour Valve Chambers (now known as Valve Houses) at Maroondah Dam.

Hi All, Here's one - it's in NSW and not a place to take a caravan although there is a camping area nearby. Where is it? Cheers, Ian.

Hi Sutac,
Congratulations - It's Mt.Borah and you have the geographical location right. Great paragliding site and also great for Radio Control Glider slope soaring. Bit of a struggle at times to get up the track to the top of the hill though.
Now it's your turn.
Cheers, Ian.
