Hmmm! Not too many bites apart from 2up's suggestion about 'SA towards the Flinders Ranges', so maybe a clue is in order... The location is a town in which the camping ground is combined with the recreation reserve - ovals, scout hall, livestock pens, etc. The latter are in the background. Notice that the caravan sites are gravelled, not grassed - so it's in a dryer area, although there's enough rainfall to grow crops. And as I've said, it's not in South Oz. Let's see if that helps! Oh, 2up...sorry I've been AWOL for a few days - I've had quite a bit on my plate - but I've left you in suspenders. Now where did we get up to... 2up suggested the Riverina, maybe around Hay NSW... SGTL suggested Bathurst... No neither of those. It's not in NSW. However, of the two suggestions, 2up's is warmer than SGTL's. The name of the location has a double connection to water. How's that for a clue? Don Ricardo

Hi Foxy,
Right state, wrong end...
Keep thinking about the clue - the name of the location has a double connection to water but it's not near the ocean.

Hi SGTL, You are CORRECT! Well done. Dona Ricardo and I stayed there on the first night of a four and a half week caravan trip we did around South Australia in 2012. For various reasons I didn't get to post some of the thousands of photos I took of the trip, but at least I get to use some of them for 'Where's this?'. As I said in an earlier post, the caravan park at Sea Lake is part of the town recreation complex, and you actually drive through the sports ground between two ovals to get to the camping sites. The park is unstaffed, but is looked after by a part-time groundsman. It operates on an honesty system - $10 per night for a powered site with access to a really good amenities block - with a letter box to leave your payment. We were somewhat surprised to be told that, even at only $10 per night, a lot of folks just use the caravan park and drive off without paying anything which seems a bit unreasonable, but there you go. I guess people see things from different perspectives! Your turn SGTL. Don Ricardo

Hi SGTL, Good grief - somewhere I've actually been, rather than somewhere I've had to work out by deduction... How about Horsham? Or has the van been relocated? Don Ricardo

G'day Don R & SGTL, That caravan is more famous than another one I know of, and isn't it good to see it is still alive. The photo SGTL has posted looks as though it has been removed from it's natural habitat though .... shed and all ... remember when it was first discovered back HERE ?

Streuth! I give up. Was sure I'd have you all guessing with this one. Yes it's at Horsham. I would say a lot has been added since 2006. No-one appears to live there & we could go right in. I'll add some pics to the original link.

Hi SGTL, Yes, I think you're right. There have been a few changes to that location, at least since I took my photos of the van. For one, the van and 'caravan port' have been re-positioned. They were quire close to front boundary fence. They're obviously owned by a collector and fan of folk art. I presume it's my turn again?? OK, where's this? I think it's reasonable to say that we are looking for a bit of detail on this one... Don Ricardo

It looks like the rail station at Girilabone,on the rail line from Nyngan to Bourke. We were up that way about twent years ago the stations and line then were falling into a state of disrepair.
