Hi Mark, I am loving all the pictures and the journey you are taking us on. Were there any other treasures in the van? Can't wait to see more. Thanks, Joey

WooooooW Mark, thanks for them pics, looking at the flex in the loading ramps she's no light weight, by the way I think you will look lovely in those dresses (talk of keeping things period correct) and that back yard looks hard to take,I mean how could anyone leave home in the morning for work or shopping or any other eason with a view like that, you'ld have to work from home would'nt you.

My goodness, Mark! It was a tighter fit than even the first set of photos showed! But I feel privileged to be able to see photos of the van coming into the sunlight for the first time in decades. What a wonderful, and beautiful object it is! (Just so that's not interpreted - that's for the van, not you. You'll score a very hearty handshake next time I see you! ;D ;D ;D) Fascinating to see the internal step as well. They've never been common, so it's revealing to see that the Land Cruiser had it. And I'm very impressed with the track you used for the jockey wheel. What a great idea. I presume it kept the van running dead straight? Normally it would have been moving to the right and left with the undulations in the ground - movement you could not allow given the low tolerances for sideways movement. Looking forward to the next instalment, but glad you respect your crew's entitlement to their morning tea! Don Ricardo

Hi Mark T,
Such a great story so far, illustrated by even greater pics! I think all us V V lovers share a vicarious thrill at watching the first steps of preserving this significant Van! Here's hoping for a smooth and rewarding restoration experience for you!
Cheers, Norm/mezmo
