Went to the innaugral Corrigin Vintage Classic Car & Motor Show yesterday.
Apparently its to be a bi annual event, as is the Brookton Old Time Motor Show.
For an innaugral event, they had a good turn up, and the show was well organised, the main difference being the parade is around town instead of the oval (as is Brookton).
It'll be a good event for the WA 2013 calender
Got to Beverley Friday night alot later than expected (7pm), so didn't have alot time to prepare car (no wash & no oil change
) ....just a quick radiator flush & fresh coolant on Sat morning (I hate overheating cars :
I was unaware the No plate bolts had worked their way loose on the nullabour trip, so lost a number plate on the way, and ran over it
arrived in Corrigin (120kms east of Bev) 'bout 10:30am
a v v on display from Hyden
nice interior display
visitors had to sign the book
this little girl was sitting happily outside the display in a period chair
dunno whether pics of this rig have been on the forum before?
a nice little vauxhall wyvern
an inter flat tray ......dunno about the gold colour though
this 29 Chev would make a good tow car for the Land Cruiser caravan
even has the same wheels
.......but they are 20 inch
whereas the Land Cruiser has 19 inch wheels (maybe someone can shed some light on this
another car n caravan on display ;D
also caught up with forum members "Tedd" .....Ted & Judy from Cunderdin who had their mint green FX on display.
A good event for a future V V run .....
