G'day Robbo, still chipping away at it, fixing up lots of little things along the way as I find them - nothing too interesting for a van forum I'll hopefully have some more picture worthy progress in a week or so ... Cheers Doug PS If you want to have a look at all the nitty gritty details of the rebuild, I've been keeping my garage reasonably up to date over on the FX FJ Forum - you don't need to join to look at the garage. The link is in my signature, and the respray is in an album on its own - click on the first picture.

Hey Doug. I haven't finished your bonnet and guards yet but hopefully soon. I am by myself in the shop now just working through the last jobs before I get out on the road. Cheers. John

Some progress with all the panels bar the hard cover now back on the car ... not to much left to do now: hard cover, headlining, front and rear glass, some wiring probs and some lights back in and back on the road again! Cheers Doug

Hi Doug,
thats looking nice & straight, & appears to be a good result considering the effort & obvious cost you put into it. congratulations on making the body straight enough to take black paint

Thanks Dennis John deserves all the credit for the bodywork and paint, he has done a magnificent job, couldn't be happier. And I can tell you the end result might look like a mega dollar effort and in my opinion is the equal of many of them if not all, its been done on a tight budget I can tell you - like most of us in the real world there isn't a bottomless pit to throw money into a toy! Its been a long hard haul to get to this stage, and the finish line is getting close, yay! Brought it home today but before it left the workshop gave it a quick tub .... Lovin it! Cheers Doug
