Hey Everyone,
DUKE after my Jack Russell.
I'm also wondering is anyone is interested in hiring their caravans out for extra cash?
We are building a website similar to airbnb for vintage caravans. Australia only.

After reading 8 pages I noticed 3x "Sunny" & two "Tilley", no "Kennys"
So after much family deliberation we have come up with our 4yo granddaughters suggestion:
"Kenny" the Kennedy.

Little Eva, after the original owner of our Don who purchased it brand new. We purchased it from her son who kindly let us name it after his mum.

Hi Robertson, The Freedom Express came out in 1976,it had an American windup system that sometimes didn't work in Australian conditions,so some were converted to push up. From memory they had imitation woodblock benches and imitation denim vinyl upholstery. An interesting van for their time, but not many made so not many to see anymore. Hope this helps Cheers hughdeani

Hey all. I've named my 68 Viscount Duralvan ' Suzie '. My dear Mum Suzie is no longer with me and she loved travelling so I thought there wasn't another name more fitting.

Hi Newbie
You have attached your enquiry onto an unrelated thread and duplicated it as well on another thread. It would be better to create your own thread on the Member's Photos section and have only one thread on your van that people can follow and help you with.
Good luck with the resto

I called our girl โRosebudโ after my Nana Rose (everyone called her Rosebud) I bought our 1967 Caravelle so I could re-create the many school summer holidays I spent with Nana Rosebud and Grandad as a kid ๐๐ซ

It was considered amusing at the time. A Covid 19 project. I'm pretty sure the seller who dropped it off in May? 2020 had Covid, Corona means Crown & it's a Viscount Royal. Well 18 months later & Covid is still messing with our lives it's not so funny. But hey, maybe one day it will be again Introducing 'The Corona Van'
