Hi everyone, It's that time again for the plans for Cora Lynn Country Car Show, Sunday October 3rd 2010, to be put in place. From the feedback we received from those who attended the last event we believe that everyone had a great time and caught up with old friends, and for anyone else, come along and enjoy and see for yourself. Last year saw us just short of the record for the most vans at an event. The committee is opening up the ground once again for caravanners to arrive on Friday 1st October 2010, (after lunch please). The club rooms will be available for showers and toilets as per usual. There is no power available to vans, however the room will be open on Saturday and Sunday evening for a place to come and chat with friends. The committee ask for only $5 per night per adult for the use of the rooms and amenities, with no charge for children. Each van will receive a goodie bag on the Sunday. Cora Lynn Recreation Reserve is located on MELWAYS KEY MAP page 14,R 15 If you are planning to camp please contact me by phone before 17th September Hope to see many of you again and some new faces also. For any other details and bookings please call me on 0409861088 Regards Dennis

Hi Mexicans What time on sunday arvo does Cora Lynn wind up??? I will be in approximately the same latitude .. but a good few degrees west ( Geelong) on sunday morning. If i am traveling Ok i thought i might pop in Pointless asking how many K's from Geelong to Cora Lynn.. What is more important is the approximate driving time across Melbourne via freeways etc?? Piss easy Reddo....even for you..... ;D ;D.....the freeway from Geelong joins to the Monash Freeway.....just keep following the signs to Dandenong,Pakenham,etc.....remember the turn off that Kris took last time you were down?......just keep going straight ahead from there and you'll end up in the right territory......it's probably 1 1/2 to 2 hours from Geelong.......

We are attending in the madmax interceptor, look out for us and we will try to park near all the vans, we do have a van but havnt started restoring it as yet. however my old van was there 2 years ago, graham from longworry now has it, bugger i was spewing i did ever sell it... we should be there around mid morning as we have a 2 hour drive, and have the mrs parents with us, hence why we dont intend to leave to early. i do look forward to meeting some of you there and checking out some of the vans there... cheers Al & Kaz... aka madmax lol... Go the saints, but this doesnt stop us from turning up...

G'day to everyone heading off to Cora Lynn this weekend... Hope you all have a great time. Looks as if the weather will be good. I have to head off to Launceston for the weekend for work so neither our Don nor I will be there. One of these days I'll make it! But I'm looking forward to seeing some pics in the meantime. An article in the Weekly Times says that caravans at the show will include a "1941 Dodge prime mover with a caravan of the same year mounted on the back". Sounds like the Highway Palace, except that was built in the mid-40's and the prime mover for that is a Fargo, so maybe there is another one out there... I look forward to hearing (and seeing) more. Enjoy the weekend. Don Ricardo
