Hi All,
Well Boots & I took a few pix at Millmerran as well.
We ended up with 9 Vintage Van Forum members having their vans at the run, & it was great.
Boots favourite car at run in front of our vans
Daytime was a show & shine in the town, then driving events, & cruising the caravan park. Nightime was a “Gangsters & Molls” themed dinner, & we had a ball.

Clydette was just plain ugly
Andrew was as flash as a rat with a gold tooth
Barb took protection with her
Sunday was a long cruise to Oakey & the Australian Army Aviation museum, via a confectionery shop around half way at Mount Tyson.

Then more cruising in the caravan park, & everyone had a great time.

On the Monday some went home, but 4 of us continued on further south west.
Travelled down thru Texas, Yetman, Warialda to Bingara
Stopped Monday night at Bingara, where Kingy showed us great pix of the River. Unfortunately the water level was very low, so next day we headed for Copeton Dam, hoping to find a good campsite.
Found a good spot, but still no water. Dam was down to about 5% capacity.
Didn’t stop us enjoying ourselves with camp ovens, dampers & stews being the order of the day. It rained fairly heavily at times.

Next day we intended to head for Emmaville, so we cruised over to Inverell for smoko. Clyde reckoned he was told there was a great spot at Pindari Dam, not too far from Inverell. So we set off.
Clydes good road
It was a great road, about 30 Km of very poor dirt, to another empty dam with very basic facilities. After a quick muttering amongst ourselves, we decided to continue on to Bonshaw weir had a nice peaceful night there.
Next day the other 3 decided to return north back to Brisbane, while Boots & I went further west.
I’ll start a new thread for the rest of our trip.
