Hi all, I've just joined this forum to seek some advice....
I own a 1967 Vaiant Alumvan and considering selling it.
Where would be the best place to post a for sale add when I decide to do it? It was bought brand new by a couple who used it about twice a year and was last registered in 1987 and stored in a shed since until we bought it a couple of years ago. The interior is in excellent condition, the full annex and rear window awning have had minimal use. There are ony a couple signs of its age like the rubber around the rear window is slightly cracked and the straps on the annex are brittle. Other than that its in great shape!!!

Hi all TIME FOR US TO SELL OUR VAN !! A brief description: - well looked after - still has original fridge, hotplate, etc (even had a full 50pound gas bottle, not 9kg bottle, when we bought it) - has full annex and skirt for along bottom of van to make full enclosure - rear window cover - HAS HYDRAULIC BRAKES FITTED !!!Cons - 12 volt wires are a there but no connected at the power source - window rubbers are begining to perish - some small signs of age - but nothing that cant be rectified cheaply and easily for someone who knows what to do. eg brittle ties on annex doors & window - just need some more sewn on, original curtains are just starting to show age - just need some made. It was last registered in 1987 before we got it (still has original rego sticker on it) and kept in a shed. We have had a cover over it as we don't have any shelter large enough to park in under and have done what we can to keep the van in the best possible, original condition. You will be hard pressed to find a 1960's caravan in such good ORIGINAL, UNTOUCHED condition. Anything else this good has usually had some restoration at some stage. We're asking around $7,000 but is negotiable. We will consider offers as we will need to sell quickly. To have a look go to photobucket.com/trixie . Unfortunately it is pick up only, sorry. Adelaide, South Australia. If you have any questions or woud like info or to inspect, send me a message via this site and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Hi All
We have purchased a bigger and newer caravan and, hence, MUST sell our '67 Valiant Alumvan.
We have tried to sell it on ebay and trading post with no luck.
The last thing we want is for it to sit our backyard with just a cover over it, giving it a chance to deteriate. So we are willing to consider any offers overs.
Has 3 months rego. Pick-up only from sothern suburbs of Adelaide.
Please email me at niganoo@hotmail.com if you are interested or have any questions.
Thanks
Nigel.

Thanks Dave
I'll consider that option if I don't have any luck elsewhere.
Nigel.

No offers??? Any feed back at all? I don't want to have to move it to my in-law's shack and use it as a spare bedroom, leaving it out in the weather. I'd rather sell to someone who will appreciate it.
