I am sure Victor Bray doesn't have the classic caravans or relaxed weekends that our group enjoys. With the yellow wagon being prepped for the bash I will need another wagon for the road so a HE Hunter Safari will be restored in the next 12 months which will necessitate the teardrop changing colour. Hoping for British racing green wagon & green and cream teardrop. The mazda 2 litre engine this time will make it a better car for cruizing further with the camper or maybe a bondwood. I definately like that Hunter Minore. Rod G.

G'day All . Well only five sleeps to go( or if your an interstate truck-driver only one sleep to go) untill Neurum Creek week-end away, was thinking may have a BBQ on the saturday night, always a good way to socialize with others . If you think this is the way to go then you may like to bring some meat for this. Also each site as a place to have an open fire, so if youhave some wood at home and you have room to bring it with you. Regards dosse.

We expect to be there around 4pm Friday (either towing the finished van or bringing it on the tandem trailer). BBQ Saturday sounds good to us too

Hi All,
We would have loved to be with you this weekend, but its a big trip for us, about 4 plus hours each way.
We thought we might still get away to Kingscliff instead, but I dont think we will be able to even manage that, what with Wintersun just around the corner.
Have a great time everyone. This will be the first SE Qld run we've missed.
Catch you all later

Hiya Sooty and the rest of yopu SEQers Great ta see newcomers Neil and Cheryl getting out on a run with you dudes. Looks like you guys had a great time. Just goes ta show ya dont need an army of vans to have a great time. I reckon ya just cant beat a van park that more or less lets ya pick your own campsite ... and.... open campfires. Definitely part of our camping /touring heritage. Good to see you lot employing the old "Put the wagons in a circle" technique. Still a lot of hostile natives up there in SEQ. Hey Dennis. can we make this park the final muster on next years Western QLD wonder??? I realise that the wander might be a bit late in the year to tie in with this weekends SEQ getogether , but it still looks like an ideal venue for a bit of a muck up at the end of the trip before we all split up and head home. Thanks for the pix Collide. Reddo

"Looks like you guys had a great time. Just goes ta show ya dont need an army of vans to have a great time." Reddo[/quote] Makes you wonder just how wrong one man can be..... ;D ;D We were all decked out... One teardrop, one Army van and one deck.. they must have known we were coming. ;D ;D ;D ;D On Saturday night Matt said that he was doing a loo run and wanted to know if anyone else wanted to go... Well two girls jumped at the chance, I went along just to keep an eye on them. the girls stood up and looked out the hatches yelling out to the other campers. I will not name names but we do hope that someone brings there wife along again as she was just so much fun.. Yelling out "Loo run does any one want to come".... As usual we all had a great time and we all got into the conversation of when and where the next gathering will be. I will post the Possible place for late August later in the week. Suzann and Matt
