Di Unfortunately no dogs. This like most parks on the sunshine coast is council owned so a general rule applies.

G'day Rod, We've got another starter for Mudjimba. Steve and Vi in their classic Coronet (they were at Canungra) so could you book a site for them beside us please? Cheers Bob and Jacqui.

Hi Rod,
Could you include John & Lynne & Tamara for Friday and Saturday night at Mudjimba as well and please book a site for us as we will bring the Don Cadet caravan, same as Canungra.
Another great weekend coming up.
Thank you Rod for your assistance in gathering the names together.
Regards,
John, Lynne & Tamara. See you on 5th & 6th Feb 2010

Names added. We are up to 20 but plenty of room for more. Check the list I have modified above and any additions or special requests send me a pm as I will work out sites etc around the 27th . I have some work to do on the Hunter before Australia Day when I'll be heading out to Ormiston for the annual Bayside event. Anyone else heading out there ? Rollydog

Sorry you can't make it but understand your work committments. The radical sunliner will be missed but hopefully see you out later in the year. Only 2 weeks o Mudjimba so if anyone want to book log in here soon. I'll do site allocations a few days after Australia day so any requests pm them to me. Due to my work committments I'll now be getting up there early Thursday morning but still taking the pushbike for some early morning rides on the waterfront. Rollydog

I'll start getting sites allocated later this week.
hey Dave and Lyn and anyone else going to Toowoomba Swap meet first. I am looking for a pair of checkered spot light covers to suit 4 to 6 inch spot lights. If you see something decent under $30 grab them for me. In return for a successful search you will receive VIP admittance to the Rollydog retreat where happy hours is being held on Friday/Saturday afternoon. Note the plural on "happy hours".
I aim to be up there early Thursday morning and trying lunch at the close by RSL to check the quality of the food and maybe a beer or two in anticipation of our Friday dinner there.
If any Brisbaneites are looking for somewhere to go on Australia Day try Ormiston College for their free breakfast and runs from there. 500 + cars last year so bigger again in 2010. (from 7.00am to 9.30am) Look out for the blue Hillman Hunter wagon.

Below is the current site allocation. I can't copy the ste map off the web site so here is the link. Note that some requests for vans to be together are either side by side or backing on to each other. Also apart from those noted here the sites are booked for Friday / saturday night We have more sites available for late bookings hence there are some spare sites but everyone is basically together. I spoke to the RSL and they said no problems with Friday night dinner. I have said 20 to 30 for dinner at 6.30 to 7pm but will confirm next week. Kids meals are all $5.50 Main courses chicken or crumbed seafood $14 to $20 steak $20 to $25.50 for reef & beef Being an RSL the drinks should be reasonably priced and it is 300 metres from the caravan park. They claim to have QLD's Best beer garden ? Maybe the venue for a saturday afternoon drink. Under a week to go and spaces still available but put your name on this thread or in a pm to me so I can let the park know. Here is hoping the weather is good for our first event of 2010. Rollydog

Certainly is. Frozen after Canungra for reasons like this. Delicately thawed and enhanced with some bunaberg sugar and there will be several more back at the park in case you catch the first one. Rollydog

Hi Rolly Dog. Due to prior commitments we will arrive at Mudjimba with a very large tow vehicle which will require a considerable amount of space to park for the weekend, however I have studied the park layout at length and I think I have a solution.--------- How does this sound --- We park the vehicle on site 67 and our van on site 86 (I know its a bit out of the way but that's OK)Then move Dozie onto site 139 which if you check is very large and almost ANYBODY could back a van into there. What do you think? Kind regards, Richard.

Banno. Unfortunately due to a situation that has arisen Boblor has pulled out of the weekend.
Richard. Forgot about your long tow car. If you want a change PM me to sort it out as I have an option in mind that would suit. With 19 vans now booked in and the sites available we have some room to move things about but I will be sorting the sites with the management on Thursday morning so just see Greg at the office when you arrive to get your gate key etc. From memory it is about $20 deposit on the gate key plus your site fees for the nights you stay.
My plan is to get there Thursday mid morning. I'll have my laptop up there but whilst I can view the VV website I can't access the messages for some reason.
I will be contactable on 0417 620877 or email rollydog@live.com.au
With most being in favour of on Friday night dinner at the RSL I'll confirm a booking of 30 for 7pm but be flexible for more.
3 days to go !!!!!!!!!!

BANNO Thanks for the phone call today. It was good to have a chat but unfortunate to hear you can't make it. DOSSE !! Banno says he will try and get there for gridle cakes on sunday morning or as a back up I will introduce you to my bacon and cheese enhanced french toast. The weather looks like clearing and the Munro is half packed. Tune the Hillman tomorrow and I'll be set for a run up the coast on Thursday morning. As I am leaving later than expected (9.30am now) I may drop in for a quick beer at the Etamogah along the way. Rollydog

Visited the S E Qld mob down at Mudjimba C P yesterday........as day visitors without a van...... .............everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.............. .........couple of highlights................... this local A model Woody and replica "wind up" van turned up and we all swarmed to it, like bees to a honey pot to check it out............ .......the owner is towing to Tassie soon for the A model Nationals............( and we thought our rigs were old!!) John and Di towed their tear drop with Di's mild custom Chev yoot ( Di's daily driver).......... Neil and Cheryl towed the Row van with their Vauxhal for the first time,,,,,, ......no doubt others will post more photos as they return home.. Cheers , Sutcac.

Hi guys, hope everyone got home safely from another excellent weekend. We needed a bilge pump to clear the water out of the floor of the Chev - lol. Waterfalls ran through the radio and I had to stick my head out the passenger window to help guide us down the freeway. After having sat for 1/2 hour or so on the Caloundra turnoff waiting for the rain to clear, we then got held up on the freeway by a rollover and a end to end crash. Temperature gauge going up and oil pressure gauge going down. How much did you say you wanted to buy it for Obe? Anyways home now - all good. A good time had by all including Robyn on her first outing with the group. Thanks for organising the weekend Rod and thanks for the piccies Clyde. Hope to see you all at the Border Ranges in a few weeks. John, Dianne, Shaina & newbie Robyn
