I got in touch with Newcastle library re Newcastle Caravans as Marilyn was built there.
They sent me the following

Newcastle Caravans appears to have been established as Caravan Builders in 1954., at 293 Maitland Rd Mayfield West.
The business continued changing to Caravan Hirers in 1959, and Walsh’s Caravan Park in 1973 and contiued to be listed until 1986
