Will, It shines through like a beacon...you love your Mum And I'd say she deserves all the love you can give her, she is obviously a very talented, very patient, very understanding, very forgiving woman Sounds like the "Trevor Roberts Memorial Run" is going to be a great success. It's great to know you blokes are keeping up this great tradition to remember a bloke who was a founding member of this forum. Cobber.

Hi all W.Aers. first up sorry for getting off topic a bit over the past few posts. Its Baileys fault . He just provokes people. Besides that i cant help dumping it on short people.... gnomes have always been an easy target. Would like to wish everyone on Trevs memorial tour a safe and enjoyable weekend. The itenary has been well thought out . should be a real hoot. This is one time when i wish Australia was a smaller place.... i would dearly love to be there. Never met Trev but i did manage to sign up before his untimely death. Read all of his and "carrots" posts and checked out his pictures on this fabulous site. You are all to be commended for organising this annual event and it surely is a great way to celebrate the man and his contribution to vintage vanning. Not sure if carrots is still on the vint van scene but would be nice to think that she was. ..... ... Not knowing the situation nowadays over there ,so i hope i am not out of line or upsetting anyone by saying that. Even though the static display NRMA motorfest is next week over here on 'The Far Side" and i am sure it will be another huge success, i wish it was a Vint Van run similar to your run ending up somewhere with 2 or 3 days kicking back downing the suds with great mates. I suppose its up to me to open a new thread and get something happening eh. Anyway folks enough rantings from me. Enjoy yourselves , take heaps of piccies for us run starved Easterners and remember to knock over a longneck for Trev. Cheers Reddo thought for today.... Will said: "and they travelled for many years in a caravan to remote sites " Hmmmmm mum didnt sneak into the circus midgets tent for a bit of "slap and tickle " one night did she might explain why everyone in the family is "vertically Challenged"

We have 14 vans coming to trevs run at this moment which turns into 26 people need to contact Roger and Hillbilly if at all possible ;D sites are no problem at this moment in time have talked to the caravan park and all is good there because there is a lot of us probably a good thing if we give the pub a warning of how many would be interested in eating there on sat nite It would be good if it was unanimous to either stay at the park cook our own dinners and sit around the campfire and remember trev in our own words or we eat at the pub to keep the spirit of why we are there alive which ever way around 30 people is a hard order for a small country pub to prepare with no or little notice we have been caught like that before at brunswick so guys and gals pub or park ?which will it be the caravan park will contact us at the start of May for the final numbers there is a friday departure date for early leavers is that time ok do the saturday leavers want travel together ? as Nannup is a fair drive from Perth around 3-4 hours there is plenty of time to make these arrangements obviously departure dates need to be confirmed if we are travelling together If there are any further Queries either post on the net or ring Lyn on 0405514408 Thanks a lot for your great response to this important occasion on our W.A. Calendar Will and Lyn

hi y'all nannup starters pottsy and jo are a go[ the lilypad ] ;D trevor and sue from beverly [ new v.v nuts ] ;D ken and kay from down armadale way [ new v.v nuts as well ] ;D tucky and noeline ;D i will see rodger the lodger at big als so no doubt he is a goer as well that should boost the numbers, will the newbies are as keen as to go to their first v.v camp out and i think they will fit in with the rest of the madness that goes with trevors run it might be an eat at the park affair as you say will, the small country pub might not be able to handle a group this big your call tho, i guess see how the numbers stack up closer to the day...what ever no doubt trev wouldn't mind having a beer at the pub or at the park ...i never saw him say no anywhere ;D ;D see ya on the street remember ; glass is class. lovshack mk 2

Hi all, I was recently in Nannup on a bike club run with 20 mates and stayed at the caravan park where there is a country type outdoor kitchen that can be used. We all had a meal at the pub which is a couple of minutes walk from the park and the meals were around $10-15 each. The owners were more than happy to cater for the extra people to have meals and there should be enough seating inside, if not there is more seating just outside under the pergola area for more. Just ring ahead with approximate numbers and they will be happy to see you. Cheers HKnut.

Hi All,
Susan & I are planning to come along to get pics for next years VV calendar - and hopefully for a few more magazine articles. So if you want to be in the calendar or a magazine article, bring your fanciest car. And if you have memorabilia, bring that too.
We'll also be at Munmorah the previous weekend for the same reason. So choosing the vans for next years calendar should be an interesting challenge.
We'll arrange our own accommodation, since we won't be pulling a van.
C u there,
Papa Razzi

Will. I can look after the meal bookings at the Nannup pub, I'm over that way twice a week and have been known to have a shandy or two to make the trip home. In fact I'm off to Busso for the long w/e and will drop in on Sun for a roady and will make some enquiries Snail

Hi Bruce,
Yes, I'm certainly planning to include east coast vans in future VV calendars. That's why I am going to Munmorah in May. And I am planning to come to Coledale as well. That will be too late for inclusion in the 2008 calendar, but will give me a head start on material for the 2009 one.
Regards, Papa Razzi

Hi Snail Thanks for sorting the pub side of things out, some may want to stay at the park ,so I think what we should do is make the pub aware that there is a group in town and possibly be prepared for 25-30 meals with 23 vans going at this stage there will around 35-40 people, and if some want to stay at the park that's fine there is no obligation to go to the pub it is optional,
Hi Ron & Elaine It will be great to see you there Nashty & Sharon will be there, I have called to see the Filers twice must be away as have been unable to make contact. Best Wishes Will & Lyn

Hey Will & Lyn I will book for Fri/Sat nite. Checked out the pub a few weeks ago thats all okay just need approx numbers when it gets a bit closer. Noticed a spit in the beer garden will follow up the possibility of a beast on a spit. Not sure how I'm going to manage this adventure. Took a fall of the back of my truck on the 24th Feb & broke my leg in two places , Ambo ride to Bunbury 4 days in traction operated & pinned and a 2 week stay in SJOG . Still on crutches & could be off work for up to 4or 5 months. Got myself a gopher to get around the yard but still a while befor I can drive or do all the things I'm used too. See Ya Later Gary & Karen

Hi snail, sorry to here of your misfortune. Enjoyed catching up in January, I am having my hip replaced when we return from the Darwin run so will be off for a bit also. (funny, the missus always thinks I'm off for a bit!)
cheers for now,
