Hi All,
While we were at Katoomba we discussed a weekend at Kendalls Beach Caravan Park Kiama and had quite a few interested starters. The dates are Friday 18th September - Sunday 20th September. We need to try & catch up to the QLD crew, they have lots of runs & in NSW we have only two per year, now three with Katoomba & as we know they are always good fun.
We phoned the park this morning and have put a booking in for all sites for that weekend. If you are interested please let us know and we will give the park firm bookings in two weeks, deposits not required and dogs allowed on leads etc.
The following is a site map of the park:
47 - 65 are powered grass sites and there is lots of room for "fivsies". 66 - 69 are unpowered sites and 40 - 46 are slab sites , there are also two sites 61-62 that are powered but a bit isolated from the rest.
To keep the group together, we suggest that we fill the grassed power sites (47-65) before moving onto the concrete slabs (40-46) and then 61 and 62.
The red heart means that the site has already been allocated.
The powered sites are $25/night and the unpowered sites are $22/night. We have arranged for a late checkout of 12:00 midday instead of 10:00 am.
It is a beautiful park on the beach and very close to all of Kiama's attractions, including The Lighthouse, the Blowhole and Little Blowhole and Jamberoo Village and Minamurra Falls are very close by.
The Markets are on Sunday 20th at the harbour.
It is not necessary to pay a deposit or contact the park, please reply here or by PM nominating your preferred site, first in best dressed. We have selected site 55 for the "Annex of Ill Repute".
The following sites have been taken,
46 John and Joy
47 Indiana
48 Humpty2 (Thurs - Sun)
49 Koala
50 Spyder
51 Jennison
52 Cobber
53 Kaz & Adam
54 Reddo
55 Geoff & Jude (Wed - Mon)
56 Marvin
63 Vantoura
64 Vantoura
65 Max & Kaye (Modern)
If you plan on staying a few days either side of the weekend please let us know this info as well so we can inform the park.
Why not have a look at the website to see how good this park is?
Hope to see you there.
Jude & Geoff
