;D ;D ;D ;D so .......seeing as Ron isn't going to restore Shiloh for 12 months, thought I'd hook it up ready for its 2009 lap of honour ;D. Shiloh hasn't done a lap of Australia since 1980, and must be suffering withdrawl symptons ;D ;D ;D Mark

Hey Mark don't forget to remove the jockey wheel and hitch it up to the Morry before you leave or you'll be sleeping in the back of the Ute.

sleep in the Morri yoot ......nah , I don't think so, there'd be two feet of me hangin' outta the back But it'd be drier than sleeping in Shiloh Ron, you removed the hatch .....remember ;D

Sister ship.. ? Also like tilt trays I say preserve that map at all cost .Would be a shame to do anything but "Stabilise" the whole van. If you restore the rest and leave that side as is it would look silly. Pretty blunt comment .. sorry about that . Dont even attempt to touch up the signwriting. Just find an out of the way spot on the van . Wipe the surface clean and try a coat or 2 of Bondcrete over the existing paint. If it doesnt react with the surface then clean the rest of the van down and take off any flakey paint by hand rubbing... very lightly with fine sandpaper and then give the whole thing 2 good coats of Bondcrete.. Sure ... it looks milky white in the tin but applys clear and sets really good. Very waterproof and hard wearing. Any rot could be dealt with from inside by applying a second sheet with liquid nails. no nailing just gunk up a sheet and push it on from the inside. Outside can do what it likes then and the inside will stay dry. Looks great behind the Morris ute. Reddo
