Guys, i'll take one too. Not worried aboout the price as i expect it'll be reasonable, knowing you guys.
Let us know about the cost and payment method when you work it out and we can all put our money where our mouths/typing is...

Slightlly off topic........but surely wouldn't some of the newer members want one of those 2008 calendars as a collectors item.............which they surely are/will be. I'm looking for a 2007 copy if there are any available out there.
Back to topic!
Yep..........very interested in the book.

Hi, We could be interested, but would like to know if it is a compilation of just the members VV's or a history of all VV's. Regards Impala

Hi Impala: It would be a collection of owners' VVs - basically chosen out of the ones that Mama Razzi and I already have photos and information about. Covering the history of all vintage vans would be a huge project and well beyond our resources. If anyone else wants to volunteer to do that, we would all be happy to see the resulting book. But I couldn't do it myself. Even a 52 page booklet will keep Mama & Papa busy for about a month.
Hi again Reddo: Yes, it's an interesting idea. But it would have several consequences. I am no expert on copyright law, but as I recall copyright holds for 70 odd years after publication. So putting 50s and 60s material into the booklet would be a rsiky business. And having more pages would mean changing from inexpensive stitch binding to more expensive glue binding.
I'm happy to keep responding to thoughts/ideas for the booklet, but one of the underlying principles for such a small print run (some printers even refused to prepare a quote for it) should be Keep It Simple.
Papa

I'd like one as well . It's a pity we're too late to add the 15 vans and tow cars that will be on display at the Adelaide Caravan and Camping Show at end of Feb. but some one is bound to send photos.

Hi Mark,
What a great idea to do a book. Good on you Mark. Put us down for four books - the oldies will love the book.
Good luck with the book.
