Great news for those of us with caravans manufactured between 1st January 1970 and 31st December 1979 ......a separate and totally new discussion forum is being created to cater for people interested in these caravans . As per Reddo's suggestion, Classic Caravans will be linked from the vintagecaravans.com website. We expect it to be up and running by the end of the week . So ......please spread the word to potential Classic Caravan members you know .......particularly those who got pissed off with recent negative discussions we had on this forum regarding Classic Caravans ......there IS going to be a place for them The project / forum owner is Jenni (Ditzy), she is passionate about making this work, and will be the forum administrator & Moderator. I wish Jenni well with her project and look forward to the "Classic Caravans" discussion forum. Mark 1970 Viscount Valiant

That's excellent news Mark.Good to see those post '70's van enthusiasts are now being looked after. They are a part of "Australia's Touring Heritage' as much as pre "70's vans.I have fond memories of '70's vanning in my teens with the family. I'll join up, even though I don't have a pre '70's van......... yet. Thanks to Ditzy for taking on admin/moderator position. This is all good news Well done. Terry.
