Hi Snail, We are brand new to the vintage caravan movement, & would love to join your Spring Tour. Haven't got the ideal tow vehicle yet, but have a '51 Riley and a '63 home built 10ft bondwood van (requiring a little TLC). need to replace window rubbers but not sure where to go or how to go about it. (not a handyman!!) Any suggestions most welcome. Best regards, Jill & Greg

Hi Jillngreg, We hope you can make on the spring tour, it would be great to meet some new folks, best of luck with the hunt for window rubbers. Our van is a fiberglass van and we got our rubbers from over east. Are your window frames ali or wood ? regards Bradngem

Hi Jill & Greg, Glad to have another couple on tour, meet up in Bridgetown Caravan Park on Sun 11th Oct or earlier if you wish. I can be contacted on 08 97 611657 if you require any further details. Clarke rubber have a good selection of window rubbers or try your mobile windscreens O'Brien man in the yellow pages. Failing that grab a tube of selastic to get you by until after the tour. Snail

All the bookings are have been made at our destinations for the 2008 Spring Tour. The new proprietors of the BRIDGETOWN CARAVAN PARK have been extreemly helpfull and have envited us to a ROCK AND ROLL DANCE on SAT 11th Oct . Any one who wishes to come down for the weekend or a night earlier to departing on the SPRING TOUR can contact me on 97 611657 it's a BYO supper & licenced bar. The good part is the location BRIDGETOWN BOWLING CLUB right on the doorstep of the caravan park. For those on tour don't forget the PIZZA night at Brad & Gemma's on SUNDAY evening. The big guy upstairs is organizing the sunshine I hope. Snail

Hello fellow Wozzies, Has the West Coast Spring Tour 2008 been completed??? Did anyone take a digital camera I know, in true vintage van tradition, there were only cameras with filum, you've put it in at the chemist for development and you're waiting for the prints to come in the mail ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Daggsey

Hi Daggy, Yep the wests spring tour is over. We went our seperate ways on Saturday or Sunday. We took our camera but only took photos of Ron rescuing a pelican which had a fishing line wrapped around its head and body. The pelican is now able to eat again and move his head. Well done Ron... The week was a great time away. good time , good friends , and great vans. Missed you both at this years run. Gem
