Hi all, bought a 1965 (I think) Franklin caravan and plan on renovating her. Rego papers say it’s a 1962 but given the stamp on the chassis 640-5 my understanding was that this is production # 640 in 1965 is that correct?
Second question - removed back end today and obvious needs to be rebuilt but how does one Rebuild the curved frame at the back bottom end? Original timbers completely rotted and snapped.
Thanks al

You can either cut them out of solid timber or glue several layers of ply together (called laminating) & then jig saw out your curve. If you go to the search function & type in curved timber' there are pages & pages of peoples projects & rear end replacements. Cheers, SGTL
