HI All, hoping someone can help me figure out what this is ? rego papers say 1988 Fawn Franklin ? I find anything online regarding a Fawn Franklin ? Would it be metal framing as well? assuming if 1988 that it would be. Picture link

It's a York van from the mid to late 1970s by the looks. Check beside the jockey wheel clamp for the chassis number starting with Y followed by numbers. Post that chassis number and forum member 'twocutekelpies' will tell you the year of manufacture. Cheers, Al.

HI Pjet, Welcome to the forum. I think your van is an early York caravan, built by Millard In the early 70’s or extremely late 60’s. You’ll see a van similar to yours in the York thread in the ‘Down History Lane’ section of the forum here. As you’ll see, York was Millard’s ‘budget’ brand, and production started in 1969. The livery/paintwork on yours is different to the one in the advert, so either yours has been repainted at some point, or is a different year. If you can tell us the serial number welded on the drawbar, we can confirm that it is a York, and we might even be able to guesstimate the build year. Forum member Twocutekelpies has an interest in York and Millard caravans, so may be able to assist us. Don Ricardo

Thanks all. Yep confirmed as a 1969 York 10ft. Have checked with the York caravan group on fb (twocutekelpies is on there) and the serial is Y1521 - which they have said based on their registers that its the 3rd oldest one to be located (on the forums).
Now the fun begins !
