Hi all, I am new to posting on the forum. I have been in love with vintage caravans, renovating/restoration & re-homing (when I have the space😬) for about 10 or 12years. We have recently finished our most recent project - let me introduce ‘Doris’ - she is a 1950’s Globe Trotter, named after her late owner Doris (Dori for short), her one & only owner whom purchased her from new & I was lucky enough to align this lil gem a few months ago. Now, after much tlc, she is now ready to find her new home. She is a rare beauty, one to which we will be sad to see her go, hence posting on this thread as I wanted all whom appreciate these wonderous ‘road abodes’ as much as I do to meet her & possibly suggest best way to advertise or locate her new family. Or better yet, take her home as your own. I also want to thank you all very much for all your posts & advice over the years, much knowledge has been of great assistance in my own journey with vintage vans. I have a keen desire to inspire more people to create their own road abodes, just love seeing lil old unloved vans have another shot at the road, smiling in tow☺️Sending much gratitude & appreciation to all of you for your shared passion & knowledge!😘 miss van winkle 😉✌️Xxx Please see link below for her photos! www.flickr.com/photos/missvanwinkle/Read more: vintagecaravans.proboards.com/user/9467/recent#ixzz5nEp10fUb
