Well Folks it`s that time again , the 4th annual Christmas in July in Murrurundi. Have just got off the phone to Carol and Doug our great host`s at the Murrurundi Caravan Park. Was happy to hear that a few from last year had already rebooked there sites before leaving last year. So Pamela myself and Rattcliffe are booked in from Thursday the 4th of July and departing on Monday the 8th. Please yourself if you want to arrive earlier or leave later as it is a great area to explore. The Park has it`s own bore so water will not be a problem.
So don`t ring Jenny Craig, ring Carol on 0265466288 and book your spot.

Hi from an uninformed Mexican Can someone explain Murrurundi's attractions - ( apart from a wonderful opportunity for VVs to get together ) it does seem to be a bit out of the way when you look at it on the map.

Good morning Bert66, You answered your own question, "a wonderful opportunity for VVs to get together". On the map it is not out of the way as it is on the New England Highway which is one of the countries main arteries. Attractions you may ask, Great little caravan park with very welcoming hosts, a nice town to walk around to check out it`s couple of antique shops, old buildings, art galleries, 3 pubs with good counter lunches, the eye of the needle lookout which is a good climb from the very secluded paradice park or jump in the car and go for a run up to Tamworth or Bob`s Shed at Quirindi or back down the road to Burning Mountain for a look or the antique shop at Wingin. We always have entertainment on the Saturday night in the camp kitchen. Or you could do what I do and sit back and drink beer and talk about old cars, caravans and how the older we get the better we were.

G'day Mr J D Strugglebrook,
Have booked, arriving Friday - leaving Monday. Asked Carol for a front row seat for the Sat'dy Night Reddo Spewtacular Show, but she said all the available raincoats have been booked out, and it's best if we sat further back in maybe Row 6.
ps. also want to book a jar of the "Limited Edition 2019 vintage Tomato Relish" if Pam is having a stall again this year.
cheers, Al.

Mr Reddo has reminded me about the Kazoo comp , very rude of me to forget. Chloe has discovered she is double booked so we now have Naomi Walden heading our all star cast along with the artist formally known as Reddo his Macraw fomally known as Polly and now known as Macca and of course the soon to be world known Kazoo challenge. This is an event not to be missed.

To All Our Dear Friendly Vanners We are thrilled that Mr Redmond is pushing, proding and encouraging all our multi talented travellers for our Friday night spectacular! To help with the electrifying evening we will bring a small PA and microphone so that the kazoo virtuosos can be heard over the din of the raucous crowd. We know that you have all been practicing terribly hard and that some of our contestants are a little shy so Tony would like to offer accompaniment to all on guitar, so you won't feel lonely infront of the microphone and the huge crowd! If you would like Tonys assistance please let him know, via a PM or on the Friday of the event, so he can also practice. To make the evening a kazoo success you may even wish to play as a duo, trio, or quartet and dress for the part. Anything outrageous is acceptable.... This is an INAUGURAL event so history will be made! Who knows there maybe an international career awaiting our winner. Keep safe, blow hard and good luck! Janette & Tony
PS we have been in communication with Judge Judy and we are pretty certain that she would be open to bribes and incentives for a more favourable outcome of your performance.

Another excellent Christmas in July. As always the entertainment was great, the conversations humerous, and the antics ridiculous.
The food was excellent, the deserts were scruptious, and enough to feed us all.
Thanks to John and Pam for orgaising the event. Thanks to all who contributed to the kitchen Thanks to Carol and Doug for hosting the event at thier caravan park.
