Well it`s time again to be thinking of the Autumn Tour for next year. If like me you have not been to Lightning Ridge before this could be the Tour for you. Regulars get first crack then first in best dressed. We usually don`t have more than a dozen vans to keep things manageable. No bookings have yet been made just looking for expressions of interest. Starting at Inverell 17th of May for 2 days a little later this year to get Easter , School hols and Mothers day out of the road.Collarenabri, 1 day, Lighting Ridge 2 days, Burren Junction 1 day, Narrabri 2 days and 1 day in Manilla to finish off.
I will be planning under the watchfull guidance of the Master formally known as Reddo a ledgend on the Tourourrist circuit.
Junior Bater JD.

Thank you Mr Ricardo, it would be great if vintage caravan royalty as yourself and Mrs Recardo were to join us on a Tour some time. The Tour crew enjoyed your visit with us in Yakendandah the Tour before last.

OK, signed up and potential Grab an Opal Tourourists. Tuning , fine tuning and removal of the didget is all happenning at the moment. Our man in the area Al is stitching up deals. His people and my people are having regular phone hook ups. As with the ducks on the pond all looks calm but our little paddles are going. In the next week or so all will be revealled, well nearlly all, well some of it will be revealled so we can all start to book and look forward to another good time.

It has become clear to me and perhaps others that MR Reddo whom has organised the Tour many times over many years is suffering from - " Post Tour Organising Syndrome". It would be good if we can support him through this difficult time.
I am feeling I am in a television comercial when I arrive at work of a morning and turn on the computor I am confronted with,
Got my powder ?? Water hot?? Now it`s , the waters all green! , there will be no water!, we are all going to die!!
Do not tell him but I have come up with an idea, if we can get him out near our struggling rivers a suitable length of hose could be inserted into MR Reddo`s person and the other end placed in the streams I am sure much aerating will occur and the blue green alge will dissapate. I would however not recomend eating the fish for a while. Top

Ok Beautiful People, If you are serious about coming on the Tour, you need to book NOW, I have just had a call from Inverell, us, the artist formally known as Reddo and his side kick Macca formally known as Polly, Veronica and Dr Phil, Al and Gabby, and a pair of overseas visitors ( Tasmanians) are booked. They are feilding enquires as it is a busier time for them and it would be the same for the other parks. A couple of days is all that is left to remove the digit.

Ummm Tour Director....
We booked into Inverell park many moons ago, but I’ve just re-booked with them again now. Sounds like old managers were a bit slack in taking names & details etc

Good morning fellow Tourourists, A suggestion has been made by Mr Reddo that perhaps those of us travelling from down south on the Tour could stop for a night at the Murrurundi Caravan Park supporting our regular Christmas in July hosts Carrol and Doug. This would mean booking in there for the Wednesday evening thus only giving us an hour and a half trip to Kootingal on the Thursday morning and plenty of time to take in the sights of Tamworth. Anyone interested ?? That`s a gold star for Mr Reddo for a fine suggestion.

To all the brave souls lining up this year please make the bookings that you can and pm me so we can get numbers and our itinery sorted.
