I'm a newbie to the vintage caravan scene but as I'm into Hot Rods thought I would try my hand at resurrecting a van .So as luck would have it I happen to find this one online. I picked it up in country Victoria ,it had spent a lot of time thankfully under cover . I took my tandem trailer just to be on the safe side to bring it home , the old cross ply Olympic 6.40 x 13" are still holding air to this day ,says a lot about the quality of tire manufacturing back then ! Had a lot of fun loading it on with a frozen jockey wheel and just a few mm clearance. Got it home and gave it a pressure wash ,which revealed the hand painted viscount model .Don't know what year it is suspect late 50's early 60's as I cant find any id. It appears to be all there so into the shed it goes for repairs To be continued...

Hi Chev 32 Your caravan looks like the one in this 1960 Carnation Milk advert. So your probably correct with 59 -60 model. It's a very nice original van, good luck with the restation Cheers Stu
