Hi Gordo,
On the 17th Ray was in Hobart. Murray brought him over to my house to show him my van. I am not sure what his travel plans are but Murray should be able to tell you.

Hi DC3Td
It was good to catch up with you albeit only via the phone. I spent 3 1/2 weeks travelling around Tassie, and as much as I love that state, it realy DID turn on a bit too much of that crappy weather! Seems like it chased me around that state and as a result, by the time I was heading west, I wasn't feeling too sociable!! My apologies for that Gordon.
A particular THANKS to Murray and Ray-Lee for making my stay on the Hobart area so much more enjoyable than it could have been. Really admire Murray's culinary skills too!!
I only got home last Thursday and am still reorganising myself. When I can I will load up some pics of the areas I visited. That weather actually added a different dimension to photographing this lovely state.
Ray

Hi Ray. ha..don`t have to apologise to me about mother nature. We certainly have had/get our (un)fair share of rain/storms here. Not to mention temp changes...last night was easily -4 in Q/town...just another 'log on the fire' night. And you certainly did miss some other sights to have seen....the 99 bends leading into Q/town (which Targa Tas makes great use of)....the famous Empire Hotel staircase....Strahan Harbour....Zeehan Museum....Q/town Museum....Q/town vintage train trips.....Lost pines/mines tours...the fabulous Q/town art deco Paragon Theatre.... Spion Kopp look-out....the new mountain-top walkway...Sue`s Pit Stop Cafe Zeehan.....my place....some itinnary for your next trip? gordo
