Hi all, spoke to greg and noleen this morning. They have been touring around and drove the great ocean road. turned up a track to find a toilet only to find it was all gravel with a 30 degree slope. greg pulled off the side to turn around and the car slid sideways soft edge towards a large cliff edge. van jack knifed and stopped before edge. had to unhitch, push van around without it rolling away, ease car out and travel up the road to find a place to turn around. (pretty scarey).
now in Ballarat at a medi evil castle today looking at a hanging, a flogging etc. I asked him when he would be heading home and he said the long they are on the road the more they like it. been staying in some free sites but heading for a van park tonite looking for power to run a heater. greg still wearing WA cloths and they froze last nite, geg said it is cold enough to snow.
some people said they would like to catch up with the tuck's. they are heading for Qld in a round about way, no time limit lucky buggers and they will have to come home at some stage. if you would to email louise, I will pass on any messages to the tuck's. greg has tried to get onto the site at a couple of internet cafe's but is having no luck. he will keep trying when able.
I will keep posting messages or hopefully greg will. if anyone else see or hears from greg please leave a message who knows you may see a red 28 plymouth towing a white skyliner cruising through your area any time.

sounds as though the Tucks should have one of these in their Sunliner then they could shit themselves without hanging their rig over a cliff ;D ;D ;D Seriously though, great to hear they are safe and having a good time, cheers Mark

Crikey, Mark... your van musta been owned by some really rich bugger! This appears to be what the Working Class used in 'Franklin Freedom'... If this wasn't for 'number ones' then I'm buggered if I know what it's there for... Ya'd need to have pretty good aim, eh?! Al. ps. received the vv stickers today... thanks mate!

Tucky's adventure is being followed on Ozrodders.com forum under the thread "long distance travelers" in the general topic section. By the list of places and people they have seen it looks as though they are living everyone's dream, just hook up the hot rod and vintage van and follow the sun ;D ;D. I t looks like they have now left Sydney town and headed towards Newcastle enroute to Wintersun. If you see them in your travels say hello. If you read this tucky I hope to catch up with you at Wintersun. Happy cruzin' Santa28a

Santa28a, Thanks for that link to Ozrodders.com and Tucky’s adventures, they sound as though they are having a great time since they left Morgan, and meeting up with lots of good friends, both old and new. A bonzer couple, that’s for sure.
Cobber.

My wife saw his rod and van go past our house at Light House Beach PMQ at 10.45am this morning.
