Hi this is our first time on the site and would like to chat to people that have traveled in a vintage vehicle pulling a similar aged van. Cheers

Welcome Pete and Trish, to possibly the best site in the whole wide world!!!! Only been a member here for a few months and already own two vintage vans !!( it is contagious , this V Vanning) You'll find all the help you need here , from a very very friendly mob of like minded enthusiasts, who will help you out any way they can. Do you already have a vintage car?If so, there are many choices ,in the way of vans. I suggest that you peruse all the info available on the site and that will help yoy to make a more informed decision on which way to go (that's what I did !)
Cheers Sutcac

G'DAY P&T , Now you guys have got good taste ! What a great choise of car , the FJ , COOL ! If its a ute even better , cause ya gotta have a ute mate . Have a look at the section on " Members Tow Cars " and you will find a few FJ 's being used , both stockies and modified . Tell us a little more about your car , and do you get to the FX/FJ NATIONALS ? I was chasing a V V on Bribie back in 1998 that had been stored under the "Queenslander" for years . It was on the main road that goes around the island , and was there for the taking . The week before i was due to collect the van , i rang to organise pick up and was told the house had been sold and the V V had gone to a caravan museum in Brisbane . You snooze you loose ! After 3 months of tracking this V V down , i missed by a whiska . I wish i knew you guys back then ! Anyway welcome to our friendly Vintage Caravan Web Site , and good luck to you ! REGARDS , MAURIE ........................ p.s "KEEP HOLDEN ON

Oops! Just saw you've fot a 55 FJ!!! Can just see a fifties bondwood roundy behind that !!!!!!!!! You could look for something like the Carapark ten nine or the larger 12footer, as they were around in the days of the FJ. Greg
