Hi all, the 2018 caravan and camping supa show is on the 21st feb to the 26th feb . My self and two others are displaying on the sat 24th and sunday 25th. these are a great event to attend for the vintage van movement there are hundreds of public who come around our vans and look inside & cant beleive that these old vans were acually used for caravaning in there day. we have done several of these shows now and still get a big kick out of doing them. We cant stay in our vans on site the show society wont allow it so if any one would like to join in and display it would be great. They supply lunch vouchers for each person for each day, if any one interested please contact me Doug on 0418346930------- There are 4 of us will be taking our vans in on the tuesday20th and setting them up and leaving them there for the whole show. We will only be there in person on the sat and sun as work gets in the way!!!

Apparently Brisbane used to be the largest show of the year, but so much of the R & A has been turned over to developers the caravan sellers are showing in the original carpark, there would be little room to show vintage vans. Now all you see are major sellers, none of the accessory guys, as they have be priced out.
Flemington seems to be the show of the year. We have been attending the regional shows in Qld SE as they have grown to an interesting standard.
Thank you for carrying the flag for the vintage van display.

The R and A people should be flogged for selling off all the good public assets to money making developers

Thanks aussieute for posting the pics as i dont have know how on how to do that,i'm not sure if i spoke to you as we spoke to hundreds of people it was flat out. Once again the vintage van movement had great exposure and boy they are still as popular as ever at these events. It would be great to have a vintage van banner flying at these events i will have to look into that as we have now attended approx 8 of these shows, caulfied, sandown,& flemington over the years. We had a ball talking and listening to heaps of caravaning storias from the old days as they call them from the public.
