Hi all,
Wondering if someone might have a clear picture of the front and rear decal/sticker from a 1971 Franklin Regent. It is the version that has Franklin in large letters, arrow head to the right and underneath the words " First in mobile living" The paint work has faded along with the decals but I can just make out a "ghost" image front and rear when the light hits at the right angle. I have a friend who may be able to produce new ones but need a clear pic so I can get started.
Cheers, Bryan and Carol

G'day Bryan and Carol, We have a sister forum that caters for caravans built between the start of 1970, and the end of 1979. Click on this link: Classic CaravansYou can sign up over there using the same 'UserID' as you've used here (your 'retro70' name). Unfortunately, most of the photos posted in the threads over there are no longer visible, due to Photobucket doing the dirty on us and blocking the photos. However, occasionally some of them are still showing, and if you join up over there we could try and see if there's a photo of the sticker still showing somewhere. I can tell you that it was black printing on a yellow background. The sticker on your van was used from mid-1970 to mid-1972, after which they changed to the cast aluminium nameplate version. There is a faded example of your sticker showing in the photos in this post from the Franklin thread in our Down History Lane section on this forum. Hope this helps. cheers, Al.
