Ok everyone, July is a long way off but planning and having something to look forward to is always good. So as some have already expressed interest I have rung Carol at the very inviting Murrurundi Caravan Park and have booked Pamela , Rattcliffe and myself in from Thursday the 5th till Monday the 9th. Hope many of you can help us fill up the park.
Give Caroul and Doug a call 65466288.

Hi JD , sounds good , except the school holidays start Friday 6th July next year . Probably not a huge problem as I'm sure Murrundi doesn't get over run in the school holidays . Might be worth checking with Carol

Have just got off the phone to Park Hostess Carol, School holidays no problem and best of all price does not go up which is good for the tight bottoms and poor shopkeepers such as ones self.

OK Everybody, We have just had some great Tours and a good roll up at the Nationals and the puppy friendly park down the road. Then there are the Gunnas , and the poor buggers who just couldn`t make it. What next??
The annual Christmas in July at Murrurundi, a great little park in a great little town. You`ll have noticed I said little, Google and have a look, Doug and Carol are great hosts. They will sqeeze as many as the can in and if the vans not finished or you are looking to buy one come and join in, there will be stew on the stove in the cosy camp kitchen.
So book your spot and come and have a great get together.

Hi JD
Fran and I are seriously thinking about attending your event but not sure we want to book in case we can't make it. Do you think there'll be sites available.

Gary, not a big park so if people don`t book there is always a chance of missing out, having said that if something came up hosts Doug and Carol would try to help.

G'day Mr Strugglebrook, I tried to book in today, but Carol said there are no more powered sites available, so she has put me on a waiting list in case there is a cancellation. Carol said there are still unpowered sites available at the moment. Saturday 7th July 2018: Aberdeen Highland Games ( www.aberdeenhighlandgames.com/ ). Aberdeen is 55kms (43mins) south of Murrurundi. Sunday 8th July 2018: Singleton Sunday Markets ( www.singleton.nsw.gov.au/Calendar.aspx?EID=6026 ). Singleton is 114kms (1hr 36mins) south of Murrurundi. cheers, Al.

G'day GnJ,
Carol rang me back 2 hours later, and said she had a powered site for me, so something must have changed within a short period (??).
Anyway, we are good to go now.
cheers, Al.

I thought I had booked, but when I rang up Carol at the Caravan Park, I didn't have a booking. Yikes. I am now on a waitlist for a powered site. Hopefully I don't have to succumb to a non-powered site and freeze!
