Hi Just wanted to introduce our lastest acquisition, a beaut little 1964 12ft Globe Trotter that arrived today from SA. Needs some TLC but I think it has some lovely original features intact. Serial no on rego sticker is 2094 (which I assume is the same as chasis no.?) and a faded Gold Coaster on front along with Globe badge inside van. The plan is to bring her back to her former glory. I have already started to access great info from this site. Lots to learn!

Update Aug 2018: Replaced bearings and tyres. Front and back windows have put in (O'Briens Bendigo), these windows had been removed and aluminium sheeting placed over the space. Rubber seal replaced around window over water tank. Hatch replaced as other one was glued do
wn and had an air vent in it. A new water tank made by Mass Field (Bendigo) replacing one that leaked and had series of obvious welding marks on it. Semi gloss enamel (Haymes) used to paint the inside matching original colors. Seating cleaned up with velvet soap. Original flooring glued back down but not in good order so considering replacing the floor tiles if I can manage to replicate the original look. I am not so keen on the original "plastic" curtains either.

Update December 2019: Globetrotter is now completed with outside being painted, new lights and decals added along with new curtains and final touches to the interior.
