G'day All,

Is anyone interested in doing Rathdowney again? A few people have indicated that they would be interested to do it again so we are putting it out there to see if there is enough interest.

Talked to the caretaker and the week end of 3rd March (Friday) through to Monday the 6th is available. Bowls club still do barefoot bowls and meal.

Update for Rathdowney weekend at the Showgrounds on the 3rd to 5th March.

Site fees are $15 per night a couple, there is Power, Hot Showers & Toilets. Just show up & Caretaker will collect fees sometime on Saturday.

Pets are welcome. Bring your tennis rackets & balls if interested, as there is a tennis court on site.

For those turning up on Friday night , we were thinking of a pizza night. As we did last time, just bring or make a pizza on the spot & we will cook it in our webbers etc. otherwise open to other suggestions.

Depending on numbers, we are thinking of playing Barefoot Bowls on Saturday afternoon about 3.30. Cost is $5 per person.

Following the bowls we can purchase a hot roast meal (roast meat & gravy, pumpkin bake, jacket potatoes with sour cream & shallots, honey carrots, peas & corn) & dessert (icecream, fruit & wafer), tea & coffee included. Dinner will be served around 6 to 6.30pm. Cost of meal is $21.

As this is a small bowls club, run on volunteers, we would appreciate if you could let us know who would like to play bowls & also how many would like Dinner & if there are any special diets. Please let us know before the 18th Feb, so the ladies can cater for us all.

There is a pub across the road if anyone prefers.

The Scenic Rim has a lot to see & do, the Beaudesert markets are on Sat. morn. 4 Real Milk (need to know no’s if anyone would like to go), National Parks, Museums, dams, Tamborine & Boonah.

Rundown… Site Fees per couple $15
Barefoot bowls $5
Roast Dinner $21
