Might just open a huge can of worms. I have been given so many different opinions on what paint to use. 2pac Marine grade I think he said enamel? Even exterior weather shield I am a bit confused. Can I ask the experts what they have used or found to be crap!! Thank you in advance. Anita

Have painted 2 vans 1 using Wattyl Poly-u 400 anti graffitti paint and 1 with 2 pac car paint. Poly-u 400 was easier to use (possibly because I was a house painter) both gave a good coverage.

Hi All, about to restore a 1960 Sunliner I believe, and dad who worked in fibreglass pools for 12 years and is a painter, said we should use enamel if we do it our selves, as it is harder than water based paints and tough in the sun as well and adhering well to the fibreglass, or if we get it sprayed 2 pac, yet again as it adheres well to old fibre glass. Have to agree. This Sunliner is stunning. We were fortunate to see it when we were at the Biggenden Swap Meet late last year. Took so many photos inside and out. The owners were incredibly nice and very helpful even though we didnt have a vintage van ourselves at the time, my hubby Rick got heaps of advice etc. on if and when we were to ever find a Sunliner. We have shown our photos of this beauty to so many friends who are also blown away by it.
