i brought this hoover washing machine it has 1948 in texta on the flap for the power lead .the wringer folds in to the bowl for transporting.. has anyone else got one. its 450 mm x 450 mm x 800 mm works good just needs new hoses im thinking of bringing it to west rocks

What a great idea i can make some petrol money..i don't know how much to charge how much was it 1948 to have washing done

I think that in 1948 people were actually doing their own washing. Hoover didn't start building washing machines in Oz till 1954. So unless its an imported machine, it would not go back to 1948

It looks like the one on the video. ..it may have been inported i found on ebay the instruction manual for that machine in England when it arrives i see if there a date
